Hotel Columbia Wellness & Spa

A lovely boutique hotel with an great restaurant. The upgrade to the half board is worth paying for as I had an ecellent four course meal each night during my stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would stay again.

A very kind staff serves an excellent breakfast. The restaurant's location is very scenic, as it is positioned on the last floor: one can admire the beautiful hilly landscape around the hotel. The spa is beautiful and you can spend hours there. The experience in the different kinds of pools is relaxing. You can also enjoy two different kinds of sauna, a steam bath and a Kneipp therapy for circulation. You can choose massages of different kinds. There is no garden outside the structure, but it is near beautiful parks, such as the huge Tettuccio Park where one can walk freely and find beautiful spa palaces in an ornate liberty style

This property was very clean. it is an easy walk to the train station. The beds however were not comfortable…very very hard. we stayed 5 nights and the breakfast were good as was the dinner we had at the restaurant. The thing we enjoyed most about the property was the spa! The grotto on the first floor for relaxation was amazing. Although the spa entrance is not included in the room price we both felt it was worth the 35 Euros each to visit 10 Euro of which is the fee for the robe and slippers. We probably wouldn’t stay 5 nights in Montecatini Terme again but it was a good area to explore from…1 hour by train to Florence and easy to get to Lucca, Pisa and Cinque Terra by train.

The room we got was amazing. The breakfast was also extremely good. I wish I was hungrier so that I could have eaten more ;)

Fantastic location in Montecatini, 5 blocks from the train station and two from the main street. Great hotel and spa, clean rooms, nice bathroom and AC. An amazing view from the restaurant, buffet breakfast included and the staff brings it directly to your table so you don’t have to leave your group and just relax.
